Legal forms stated on their websites (checked 2026-10-06): Mexico mixes SOFOM E.N.R. lenders (Konfío, Kueski, Aviva), a SOFIPO (Stori), a bank (Covalto) and a crowdfunding institution (yotepresto.com). In Brazil, Creditas states that it operates as a direct credit company (Sociedade de Crédito Direto) and banking correspondent. In Colombia and Chile we did not find a specific financial license stated on the main pages of the companies in this segment; Sempli, for example, describes itself as an S.A.S.
